CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A 33-year-old Charlottetown woman has been charged after police responded to a complaint of people fighting outside a residence on Upper Hillsborough Street at 2 a.m. on Saturday, June 27.
Upon arrival, police located a woman with minor injuries to her face.
It was determined that two women were involved in an altercation which also led to a parked vehicle being damaged.
The woman was charged with mischief under $5,000 dollars and will appear in provincial court at a later.
While at the scene, police also arrested a 55-year-old Charlottetown man who had an arrest warrant for other unrelated matters.
He remains in custody and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
