CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown Police Services is getting three new cars and a new truck.
Council recently unanimously approved a resolution that will see the city spend $79,924 on three mid-sized sedans and $41,824 on one half-ton crew cab truck.
The cars are coming from Centennial Nissan while the truck will be supplied by Reliable Motors Ltd., both Charlottetown businesses.
The city also received bids on a request for quotes from Hillside Motors, Reliable Motors and Summerside Chrysler with regard to the cars and from Hillside Motors and Summerside Chrysler on the truck.
