CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown police charged two people with impaired driving within two hours of each other early Saturday morning.
At about 2:10 a.m. on Feb. 15, police noticed a vehicle driving on Great George Street without any lights on.
The vehicle was pulled over and the driver displayed signs of impairment by alcohol and was arrested.
A 20-year-old Rustico man was charged with impaired driving.
Then at about 3:50 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Allen Street and determined the driver was impaired by alcohol and was arrested.
A 24-year-old Charlottetown man was charged with impaired driving.
Both men will appear in provincial court at a later date.
