CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Parking and parkade rates in Charlottetown are set to increase, as previously announced in the 2020-21 budget, in order to allow the city to continue to maintain and upgrade its parking infrastructure.

The new rates will come into effect on Thursday, Oct. 1.

The new rates for parking meters will be $2 per hour (HST included), other lengths of time proportionate. The parkade rates will be adjusted to $1.75/hour, $12.25/day, and $150/month.

The Charlottetown Area Development Corporation (CADC) will notify customers of the rate changes at each parkade.

For further information on the parkades, contact CADC at 902-892-5341 or visit cadcpei.com.
