CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A 52-year-old Charlottetown man has been charged after Charlottetown police responded to a domestic violence complaint on Jan. 16 at 11:20 p.m.
The victim suffered minor injuries that were treated on scene by Island EMS.
As a result of the investigation, the man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
The accused has been released from custody with conditions to have no contact with the victim and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
