CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The City of Charlottetown and Charlottetown Police Services are reminding drivers to be extra vigilant on Saturday.
Slow down and watch out for those excited princesses, monsters and superheroes who may be out trick-or-treating.
City police will be out conducting extra patrols on Halloween night.
Ensure children are accompanied by an adult and are following the Chief Public Health Office guidance for going door-to-door and limiting contact.
Costumes should be bright and reflective, and treats should be checked over by an adult before consuming.
Police also ask that the public adhere to the 8 p.m. curfew for trick-or-treating.
