SAINT CHRYSOSTOME, P.E.I. - On the Thursday before Christmas, a clear and cold evening, Klaus and Jean Dieckow said they answered their doorbell to a group of about twenty local adults, teenagers, and children standing in a large semi-circle in their driveway.
“They sang several Christmas carols for us in a gifted and heartfelt performance. Their voices blended together creating a perfect harmony and making a lovely special event for us,” said the surprised couple.
“The group wore Christmas hats with bells, their faces were beautifully made up and big, warm smiles beamed out from the darkness, reflecting our Christmas house lights. Their clear, pure voices rang out with such enjoyment and enthusiasm that it warmed our hearts and made us happy and excited.”
They continued, “We never before enjoyed such a wonderful display of community spirit and warmth at Christmas. We really appreciated them coming to our home in Saint. Chrysostome.”
The Dieckows want to thank all the Christmas carolers that spread such warmth on a cold, wintry night.
