A 35 year-old male driver from Kings County was arrested after being pulled over at a Kings District RCMP traffic check-stop in the Bridgetown area on Wednesday evening,

Just after 9 p.m., the man was found to be driving contrary to three different court orders preventing him from doing so.

He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Provincial Correctional Centre and is expected to appear in Georgetown Provincial Court in the near future to answer these charges.

His vehicle was towed from the scene and will be subject to a six-month impoundment.

Kings District RCMP reminds the travelling public that random check-stops can occur at anytime, and drivers are required to have valid documentation, no existing restrictions and, as always, to drive sober.
