SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – Timothy Leigh Stright, 40, of Murray Corner, N.B., has pleaded guilty to one charge under the Fisheries Act.

The charge was for operating or leaving unattended in the water any fishing gear, other than mobile gear or handlines, that was not marked with a vessel registration number as set out in his fishing license.

The charge is from July 12 in waters off Prince County.

Stright was fined $800.
