New Annan man receives jail time for theft

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 46-year-old New Annan man has pleaded guilty to two counts of theft and was sentenced to serve seven months in jail.

Christopher Raymond O’Halloran received credit for two months he has already spent in custody since his release.

He must also serve 24 months of probation.

The charges are from July 28 in Cavendish and Dec. 5 in Summerside, both in 2018.
