BLOOMFIELD, P.E.I. — About 20 millimetres of rain Monday afternoon into Tuesday ground this year's P.E.I. potato harvest to another halt.
Weather for the rest of the week, however, looks promising. More rain is in the forecast for Sunday and into next week.
Here, a potato harvester and two windrowers were working a field along the O’Halloran Road in Bloomfield Monday morning.
Harvesting crews are taking advantage of whatever dry weather they can find to get their potatoes out this fall.
