West Prince RCMP issued several suspensions and vehicular impoundments during a recent series of checkpoints in that area.
The checks were conducted on June 11 and into the early hours of June 12.
As a result, an 18-year-old driver from Tignish was issued a seven-day driving suspension and his car was impounded for three days as a result of his failure of a breath exam on June 11 at 10:50 p.m., in Tignish.
On June 12 at 12:20 a.m., in Alberton, a 19-year-old female driver from O’Leary was also suspended for seven days and her vehicle was impounded for three days as a result of a failed roadside screening test.
