West Prince RCMP ask for tips of name in alleged smash, grab theft from vehicle

On Nov. 18 at approximately 1 a.m., a passenger-side window was smashed out of an unattended, parked vehicle on Church Street in Tignish.

Several items were stolen from inside the vehicle. 

The police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying those responsible. 

A surveillance photo has come to light showing a possible suspect.

The RCMP is asking for tips on who the person might be in the photo.

To give a tip directly to a police officer about the who the person in the photo might be, call the RCMP West Prince Detachment at 902-853-9600.

On the other had, to give a tip, but remain anonymous and possibly qualify for a cash reward, contact Crime Stoppers, either on the Internet and follow the various ways to make a tip, including through Facebook, or with a toll-free, anonymous phone call to 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
