Emergency personnel in P.E.I. showed their appreciation for those working on the front lines at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown and the Prince County Hospital in Summerside on Wednesday.
Fire trucks, police vehicles and ambulances sounded their alarms and flashed their lights as they drove around both hospitals, celebrating and thanking hospital staff.
“It takes a lot of people to run health care facilities, doctors, nurses, admin staff, food service, maintenance, laundry, housekeeping and many many more departments. We want you to all know we are behind you all the way!” read a social media post from the RCMP.
The Western Hospital in Alberton will also be saluted on Friday, April 3 at 1:30 p.m.
