SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 34-year-old Tignish man was in Summerside court recently for drunk driving.
Jason Joseph Handrahan has pleaded guilty to two counts of having control of a vehicle while also having blood alcohol level above the legal limit and one count of failing to attend court as required by a judge.
The two impaired driving charges are from Aug. 17 and Dec. 7 in Summerside, while the failure to appear charge is from Oct. 10 in Summerside.
Handrahan was sentenced to serve 110 days in jail, to be followed by 18 months of probation. He is also prohibited from driving for 24 months and must pay $300 in victim surcharges.
