SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – A Tignish man has pleaded guilty to one count under the Fisheries Act.

Tyler L. Gaudet, 35, was charged with using a fishing appliance that obstructs more than two thirds of the width of any river or stream, or more than one third of the width of the main channel at low tide of any tidal stream.

The charge is from June 13, in Tignish.

Gaudet was fined $750.
