Three Rivers byelection taking place Monday

A municipal byelection for Ward 10 is taking place on Monday, Feb. 22.

Voting will take place at the election office in the Montague Waterfront Station between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Advance poll dates were Feb. 19 and 20.

The three candidates for the Montague ward are:

- Larry Creed,

- Greg Jobe,

- and Shane MacDonald.

Montague has two other representatives, Deputy Mayor Debbie Johnston and Coun. John MacFarlane. This byelection is to replace former Coun. Wayne Spin, who resigned last year.

The next general municipal election will take place in November 2022.
