Three food establishments on P.E.I. were hit with warning letters from provincial health inspections in November.
In all three cases, the warnings were issued for operating without a valid operating licence.

Inspectors also flagged the establishment in Slemon Park for failing to provide hot and cold potable water in sufficient quantity and pressure.
Both issues had been rectified by the time inspectors conducted a followup inspection on Nov. 21.
The Three Rivers Sportsplex/Eagles Nest in Georgetown was also hit with a warning letter for operating without a valid licence during a routine inspection on Nov. 13.
The licence had been renewed by the time inspectors conducted a followup inspection on Nov. 20.
The Tignish Credit Union Arena was also slapped with a warning letter for operating without a valid operating licence during a routine inspection on Nov. 21.
The licence had been renewed during a followup inspection on Dec. 4.
Tignish Credit Union was also noted for failing to provide an appropriate procedure to verify sanitizer strength and failing to provide a no-rinse, food grade chemical sanitizing solution at the appropriate concentration.
All issued were cleared up by Dec. 4.
Ryan Neale, manager of health and wellness for the province’s environmental health branch, said all food premises should be checking to see if they are operating with up-to-date licences.
Neale also reminded business that all licences will expire in March.
