CAVENDISH, P.E.I. — A portion of the road through P.E.I. National Park in Cavendish will be closed Wednesday to allow for the installation of overhead LED signage.
Parks Canada said there will be a temporary full road closure at Grahams Lane lasting for about 30 minutes sometime between 1 and 3 p.m.
In case of inclement weather, the closure will take place on Thursday, Sept. 19.
The LED signs are being installed at the entrance kiosks part of ongoing work to improve infrastructure and enhance visitor experience within the park.
The travelling public should expect delays at this location and are advised to exercise caution, respect all on-site signage and closures and to follow instructions from on-site Parks Canada staff or contractors.
