SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A Summerside woman has incurred fresh charges after police found her with stolen property last week.
Around 8:15 p.m. on June 28, Summerside Police Services received a call from workers at Mark’s Work Warehouse. Staff reported a suspicious shopper who they believed had stolen from the store previously.
Officers arrested 33-year-old Johanna Gallant, who was in possession of a jacket allegedly stolen from Mark’s Work Warehouse.
Gallant had outstanding warrants of arrest for offences including possession of stolen property, fraud, attempted fraud and theft.
Gallant was held in custody and was scheduled to appear in court July 3 to answer to the charges.
