SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Summerside city council has given final approval for the construction of a new subdivision off Spruce Drive.
The property in question, 29 Spruce Dr., would be subdivided into 10 lots, two would be intended for row housing and eight would be for semi-detached dwellings.
The proponent of the project is Abbott & Langille Plumbing Heating & Electrical Inc.
In 2018, when this project first came to light due to a rezoning request, some residents living around the property expressed concern with the amount of increased traffic to the neighbourhood and with the loss of the woods bulldozed there.
