Summerside police looking for stolen Jeep with P.E.I. plates

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Summerside Police Services is asking the public for assistance in locating a 2009 four-door Jeep Wrangler. The vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of a Northumberland Street apartment building sometime overnight Sept. 10 – Sept. 11.

The Jeep is registered as being red in color but appears burgundy.  It had P.E.I. license plate 479MI attached when stolen and a yellow Freddie Mercury sticker on the rear window.

Anyone with information on this matter is asked to call the Summerside Police at 902-432-1201 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
