SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – A Summerside man who pleaded guilty to contacting someone he wasn't supposed to will serve 12 days in jail.
David Francis Gallant, 57, recently pleaded guilty to breaching a probation order and one count of operating a motor vehicle while also having a blood alcohol level above the legal limit.
The charges are from Nov. 29, 2018, and Jan. 12, 2019, respectively, both in Summerside.
Gallant will serve his sentence intermittently. He will be on probation until his time is served, pay a $1,500 fine and is prohibited from driving for 12 months.
