SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 29-year-old Summerside man has pleaded guilty to a number of charges against him.

Joshua James Jenkins has pleaded guilty to two counts of theft under $5,000, two counts of mischief for damaging property, one count of assault and one count of threatening a police officer.

The charges, all dated from between August and December 2018, took place in New Annan, Kensington, Summerside and Charlottetown.

Jenkins was sentenced to serve 110 days in jail, which he received permission to do intermittently. He also received credit for the equivalent of 36 days he’s already spent in custody since his arrest. In addition, he must serve 24 months of probation.
