Summerside man gets jail time for theft, other charges

Allan Joseph Gallant, 49, of Summerside has pleaded guilty to several criminal charges.

The charges include one count of breaching his probation, one count of failing to attend court as required by a judge, one count of stealing a bottle of liquor from a convenience store and two counts of failing to comply with a court undertaking.

The charges are dated from throughout 2019 and took place in Summerside and Kinkora.

Gallant was sentenced to serve 66 days in jail and 12 months of probation.
