SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 28-year-old Summerside man has pleaded guilty to five charges under the criminal code.

Kyle Lawrence Benoit's charges include two counts of stealing merchandise belonging to the P.E.I. Liquor Control Commission valued at less than $5,000, one count of uttering a death threat and two counts of breaching a court undertaking.

Benoit was sentenced to serve 130 days in jail and 18 months of probation.

The charges are all from September and October in Summerside.
