St. Edward man jailed for driving while prohibited

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 40-year-old St. Edward man has pleaded guilty to one count of operating a vehicle while prohibited from doing so. 

Cecil Donald Bernard was sentenced to serve 120 days in jail, 12 months of probation and must pay a $100 victim surcharge. 

He was charged on Oct. 20, 2019, in St. Edward.
