CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A St. Chrysostome man was in provincial court recently on charges for driving while disqualified.

Ryan Elmer Arsenault, 32, pleaded guilty to two counts of driving while prohibited and for failing to appear in court.

On Nov. 23, Arsenault was caught driving without a license in Summerside and on July 9, he was caught in Richmond. 

Arsenault was sentenced to a total of 10 says in jail, fined $1,000 and must pay $350 in victim charges. Arsenault is prohibited from driving for two years.
