WOOD ISLANDS, P.E.I. - Northumberland Ferries Ltd. will resume crossings between Wood Islands, P.E.I. and Caribou, N.S. Wednesday with a 4:30 p.m. sailing from Wood Islands. 

A 6:15 p.m. crossing from Caribou will also go ahead. 

Tuesday, NFL cancelled some early Wedensday ferry crossings due to the weather forecast. 

P.E.I. was under a winter storm warning most of Tuesday.
