Drivers on Prince Edward Island are enjoying a slight decrease in the cost of gas this morning after the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved a decrease of one cent per litre (cpl).

The decrease, which came into effect at 12:01 a.m., means that the price at the pump, including taxes, for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 114.0 to 115.1 cpl.

There is no change in the price of furnace oil, diesel or propane.

The commission’s next scheduled price adjustment is Nov. 22.
