Slight decreases to P.E.I. gas, oil prices in Nov. 22 IRAC adjustment

The price of gas, diesel and furnace oil have decreased slightly in the overnight petroleum pricing adjustment.

Gas now costs 0.8 cents per litre (cpl) less than it did yesterday, ranging from 113.0 to 114.2 cpl. Furnace oil decreased by 0.7 cents per litre and the price of diesel dropped by 0.6 cpl.

On the other hand propane prices have increased by 3.4 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing, by 4.0 cpl for both Kenmac Energy Inc. and Noonan Petroleum, by 4.1 cpl for Superior Propane, and by 4.8 cpl for Island Petroleum. Maximum, before-tax propane prices now range from 75.2 to 78.4 cpl.  

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission’s next price adjustment is scheduled for Nov. 29.
