Roundabout construction starts Wednesday in Newton

NEWTON, P.E.I. – Construction on the Newton rural roundabout at the intersection of Route 109 and Route 111, begins Wednesday, Aug. 15.

Two-way, one-lane traffic will be maintained throughout the construction period. Traffic may be periodically rerouted to temporary roads.

Motorists are asked to obey signs and traffic control personnel. Delays can be expected.

Work is expected to continue through to October.
