BORDEN-CARLETON, P.E.I. – The Confederation Bridge is open to all traffic, after restrictions were lifted around 4 p.m.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The high winds have required restrictions to be put in place on the Confederation Bridge. For user safety, certain classes of vehicles have been restricted from crossing until the current high wind situation changes.
Restricted classes include automobiles towing trailers, motorcycles, high-sided vehicles including trucks, tractor trailers, recreational vehicles, and buses.
Bridge restrictions were put into place at 1:50 p.m. today, March 14.
