CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Chief public health officer Dr. Heather Morrison says P.E.I. has its first confirmed cases of COVID-19 related to inter-provincial travel.

Morrison made the announcement during a second news briefing this afternoon about the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The latest case brings the total for P.E.I. to 25.

Morrison said the latest case is a man in 50s who is at home and doing well.

The latest case is another example why it is important to self-isolate after travel, Morrison said.
