RCMP investigating after dog shot near Norway, P.E.I.

NORWAY – Prince District RCMP are investigating after a dog was reportedly shot in the Norway area of P.E.I., near North Cape.

The dog’s owners heard a shot in their neighbourhood around 7:45 p.m. on June 4 and their dog came home suffering serious gun shot wounds. They rushed it to a vet in O’Leary but it had to be put down.  

The investigation is continuing and the RCMP are requesting assistance from the public to help solve this crime. Anyone that may have heard the shot or has any information about this incident, is asked to contact the West Prince RCMP detachment at (902) 853-9300.
