SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — An application by a Summerside property developer to rezone two properties on MacEwen Road to allow for the construction of a six-unit townhouse has been approved by city council.
The applicant, Kujtim Musliu, requested the properties be changed from mixed residential R2 designations to medium density residential R3 to allow for the higher density housing type.
Neighbouring property owners had expressed concern about water draining from the new developments, but city staff have concluded that connecting the properties to municipal sewer and water should mitigate the problem.
