A Summerside man was handed 18 months of probation recently for uttering threats.

Scott William Barlow, 44, threatened to cause bodily harm to someone in a June 18 incident. 

He pleaded guilty and received a suspended sentence, probation. He must also pay $100 in victim surcharges and stay away from the person he threatened.
