Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is scheduled to be in Charlottetown on Monday.

Charlottetown MP Sean Casey, in a Facebook post, invited Prince Edward Island residents to Connaught Square in downtown Charlottetown for a strawberry social with the prime minister. The social is planned for 1:30 p.m.

Trudeau was on the Island last June, with stops in Charlottetown and Montague, and back last November, where he was awarded the 2017 Symons Medal at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. Trudeau also delivered the Symons lecture, which was part of the annual ceremony.

The Guardian will have extensive coverage of the prime minister’s visit on Monday, in print, e-paper, social media and on our website.
