TRAVELLERS REST, P.E.I. — A 53-year-old Travellers Rest man has been arrested and faces drug trafficking charges.

The Prince District Joint Force Operations Unit, comprised of RCMP, Summerside and Kensington police officers, executed a search warrant on a residence in Travellers Rest on June 13.

As a result, a quantity of hydromorphone and oxycodone tablets, $380 in cash and contraband tobacco were seized.

The investigation into this matter is still ongoing.
