Showers or periods of drizzle are expected to end this morning then become cloudy with north wind gusting to 60 km/h and a high of 6 C. The UV index is 4, or moderate.
Clearing this evening with wind gusting to 50 km/h and a low of 2 C with a risk of frost.
A few words from Cindy Day
The soggy system is moving out, but SaltWire Network’s chief meteorologist said don't expect things to warm up right away.
Cindy Day said a large high-pressure system to our west is pulling down some very cold, north air gusting to 70 km/h today then dropping to 30 km/h Thursday.
The proximity of that cold high will, however, serve up a mix of sun and cloud heading into the weekend.
By Sunday, a weather-maker will track north of the province and bring showers to wrap up the weekend.
