A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:

SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day

“An early week warm front brought us warm, muggy weather and a cold front will cool things down this weekend, but between the two, you’ll have to hang on to your hat – wind gusts could rival those of Teddy! A strong south wind will veer to the southwest as a 50 to 70 km/h range. We’ll be treated to some clearing on Thursday, and Friday looks fair, but I’m watching a fast-moving rainmaker that will approach from the south late Friday. The overnight rain will move out very early Saturday. Behind the wet weather, the wind will shift to the northwest bringing cooler, more fall-like conditions for the first weekend of October.”
