Weather
A mix of sun and cloud for Wednesday with a high of 1 C and a low of -5 C.
A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:
“It’s a lovely day … to get some wax on that shovel. As yesterday’s storm churns out over the Labrador Sea, the next weather maker is racing up the Ohio Valley. The Texas Low is expected to track off the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia for a while then, instead of heading for the Avalon, it will be forced to veer to the left and cross western Newfoundland. That track is going to keep the snow-side of the region, we could have 15 to 20 centimetres of new snow on the ground. Saturday will be quite pleasant with some sunshine; clouds return late Sunday, with a rain/snow mix coming overnight into Monday.”
