A few words from the SaltWire Network weather desk
SaltWire Network’s chief meteorologist said behind the cold front, a dry breeze will clear the air.
Cindy Day said today’s wind will be from the west to northwest with gusts to 60 km/h.
The wind direction will change as another wet weather maker approaches the province on Thursday.
Day said the south wind will lead the way for some overnight rain, adding the rain should let up before noon on Friday.
The late week system is expected to weaken but linger through the weekend.
“There won’t be much moisture on it, but we’ll likely be under a blanket of cloud with a few showers.”
