Weather
It will be a wet day across the province Wednesday with a 70 per cent chance of showers and a high of 19 C.
A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:
“A taste of the extreme heat that’s been parked over southern Ontario is starting to reach eastward as a warm front finally breaks through an offshore blocking pattern. The leading edge of the front will bring 15 to 25 millimetres of rain this evening and tonight; a fair day will follow. By Friday, the temperature, but more importantly the humidity, will soar: humidex values will climb into the mid-30s by the end of the week. The next rainmaker is expected to track up along the eastern seaboard with rain reaching the province overnight into Sunday.”
