A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:

“Spring sunshine is going to be at a premium this week. A controlling arctic high pushing down on a stalling Colorado Low will keep things cool, damp and dull all week. As the rotating area of low-pressure backs in, a wave of heavy rain will reach the province on Wednesday; we can expect 15 to 25 millimetres of rain. Aside from that, watch for light flurries, occasional showers and patchy freezing drizzle, all compliments of the stalling scenario. Don’t look to the wind for any heat … it will blow from the east and northeast into the weekend.”
