A word from SaltWire Network’s chief meteorologist Cindy Day:
A mild mid-week system will bring flurries and showers along with warmer than normal temperatures tomorrow. The system that will follow on Thursday is expected to pack more of a punch with snowfall accumulations near 10 centimetres. The wind will come around to the northwest behind the low-pressure system and it’s going to get cold by the end of the week; wind chill values range from -15 C to -20 C on Friday and Saturday. The next in the series of snow systems will move in on Sunday.
