Weather
It will be a sunny day across the province Thursday with a high of 22 C.
A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:
“The surface trough with its high wind gusts and showers has moved off the Island; we’re between it and the next rainmaker that will move up from the southwest tomorrow night. There wasn’t much of an air mass change behind the trough and the winds remains out of the south and southwest across the province. There will be an impressive wind shift behind Friday night’s rain event. The wind will come around to the north as the wet weather moves out. The first weekend of October is going to be cooler and a little more like fall. If you’re still in need of some moisture, I’m watching a large rain system that should reach our region late Monday.”
