Weather – A mix of sun and cloud

Sunny today becoming a mix of sun and cloud this morning with wind becoming southeast 20 km/h near noon. Today's high is 16 C, except along parts of the coast where it will be 10 C. The UV index is 7, or high.

Mainly cloudy this evening with a 30 per cent chance of showers before morning. Wind southeast gusting to 40 km/h. Tonight's low is 6 C.

Temperatures remain mild for most areas with a mix of sun and clouds.

Friday morning, wind and rain arrives from west to east but moves through quickly with some cooler temperatures.

There should be fairly pleasant, seasonable temperatures on Saturday, with a few showers for some areas beginning early on Sunday.

Conditions clear a bit on Monday, but yet another system approaches overnight into Tuesday bringing more rain.

  • WIND: SE 10 to 15 knots increasing to SE 15 to 20 knots near noon and to SE 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon.

  • WIND: SE 15 knots increasing to SE 25 knots in the afternoon.

NORTHUMBERLAND STRAIT: STRONG WIND WARNING

  • WIND: Light increasing to SE 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon then veering to S 20 to 25 knots in the evening.

GULF –MAGDALEN WESTERN HALF: STRONG WIND WARNING

  • WIND: S 15 knots increasing to SE 25 knots in the afternoon.
  • WAVES: 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 metres in the evening.

GULF –MAGDALEN EASTERN HALF: STRONG WIND WARNING

  • WIND: SE 10 to 15 knots increasing to SE 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon and to SE 20 to 25 knots in the evening.
  • WAVES: 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 metres in the evening.
