Weather
There will be sun and cloud across the province Thursday with west winds gusting to 50 km/h in the morning. Today’s temperature will be around -13 C, but the feel-like temperature will be around -22 C.
A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:
“And just like that, winter has returned to Prince Edward Island. Today’s daytime high temperatures will be eight to 10 degrees below normal and the icy northwest wind is not going to help matters; feel-like temperatures will be near -22 C most of the day. Friday should be a little more pleasant with more sun and less wind, and by the time the weekend comes around, temperatures will be above freezing. Overall, the weather picture is expected to remain quiet until Tuesday. A developing system will bring snow by the middle part of next week.”
