Weather
About five to 10 centimetres of snow is expected for P.E.I. today.
A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:
“The recent parade of weather systems across the province has been accompanied by mild temperatures, but it’s about to get bitterly cold. Behind the string of stormy systems, a cold north wind will serve up wind-chill values of -18 to -22 C during the day tomorrow. The weekend will get off to a bone-chilling start, but we can expect a wild warm-up by Sunday. I see a line of weather that’s expected through late Sunday, but snow and rain totals will be light.”
